WebRecently, a family of isostructural compounds, tantalum arsenide (TaAs), niobium arsenide (NbAs), tantalum phosphide (TaP), and niobium phosphide (NbP), was proposed as Weyl semimetals; shortly after the theoretical prediction ( 18, 19 ), the first Weyl semimetal was experimentally discovered in TaAs ( 20 ). WebAll these experiments are conducted using surface sensitive techniques including SPM and ARPES. Some of the experiments were conducted with LEEM/PEEM and STXM which are available only at synchrotron facilities. [1] Q. Lu et al., Nat. Comm. 13, 4603 (2024) [2] P.J.
