WebMay 13, 2006 · The fact that any pan evacuation system (plumbed into the headers) will work in a muffled exhaust is going against the principles of physics. Any exhaust system with mufflers is going to have at least some back pressure and this back pressure will not allow the pan evac nipples in the collector to generate a vacuum. WebFeb 25, 2008 · Exhaust is traveling backwards into your crankcase. I bought 3 of these kits before I decided they were all junk. The other problem I noticed is that the valve cracking pressure was all over the map...anywhere from .5psi to 3psi of pressure was required to open the valve in the flow direction. I went with a fixed orifice one (fram fv410) and it has been working great for me. Cost me $1.80 at rockauto. 1972 Chevelle, MJ 467, 2004r non-lockup, Moser 12 bolt 3.73. WebFeb 23, 2006 · The benefits are pretty simple... the cylinder has the same stroke in both directions, so hi-HP engines have pretty extreme crankcase venting problems. I'm not a huge fan of the Mr G setup simply because its a PITA. A good old PCV setup which is plugged into a vaccum source will probably work better. Feb 20, 2006.

I have seen a couple of cars that only run a valve on one header collector and tee in the two breathers together to that valve,but not sure how effective it is.
